SCC is dedicated to delivering impactful and sustainable solutions that address the urgent needs of vulnerable Somali communities. With the support of our partners and donors, we strive to:

Expand Essential Services: Deliver need-driven programs in Primary Health Care, Gender-Based Violence prevention, environmental conservation, Water, Sanitation and Hygiene (WASH), and emergency education for crisis-affected populations.

Empower Youth: Launch Technical and Vocational Education and Training (TVET) programs that equip Somali youth—especially girls and young women—with practical skills for employment and entrepreneurship.

Alleviate Extreme Poverty: Provide livelihood training and microgrants to vulnerable households, enabling them to establish sustainable income sources and reduce reliance on humanitarian aid.

Improve Community Infrastructure: Rehabilitate and construct schools, water systems, roads, bridges, and canals to enhance access to basic services, improve mobility, and support long-term recovery.

Promote Inclusive Education: Improve access to quality education for marginalized children by creating safe learning environments, enhancing retention, and improving learning outcomes.

Advance Community Health: Offer accessible, community-based health services, with emphasis on maternal and child health, including antenatal and postnatal care.

Foster Peace and Social Cohesion: Support peacebuilding and conflict resolution through inclusive dialogue, reconciliation efforts, and strengthening of local governance mechanisms.
