Somalia Community Concern (SCC) is a national, voluntary, non-governmental, non-political, nonpartisan, and nonprofit making organization that is well established in the field of emergency response and developmental programs. Since 2003, SCC has been at the forefront of emergency response, establishing operations in difficult to access locations and reach those most in need. We aim to lift poor and marginalized households out of the vicious cycle of dependence by addressing the underlying causes of vulnerability to environmental and socioeconomic shocks. Our programs are focused on serving the most vulnerable and marginalized people in Somalia, namely children, adolescent boys and girls, women, persons with disabilities, people from minority clans and internally displaced persons .
